Symbols:
*The Ankh-like symbol on his right flank is no brand, but a marking of his origins. Ra is the very essence of life; the first. (The ankh symbolizes eternal life to others, the 'Key of Life' and immortality.)
*Both eyes are decorated with an Udjat or the 'Eye of Horus'. In short this brings Protection and Healing.
*The Scarab Beetle made of blue faience, placed in the middle of his chest piece, represents rebirth and the never ending life cycle.
Other: He's not an actual horse, more so a spirit or god-like figure of one. Protector and guardian over many horses, or so the arabian breed (and their descendants) believe. He is responsible for their punishments, their blessings, and their very lives. He is always depicted with the symbols mentioned above, but of course others may be thrown in there such as the sun-disk and the shen. And yes he has no actual pupil, Ra is sight itself as well as hearing, taste, smell and touch.
Though he is the sun god his coat is pure black and if need be Ra usually appears in the form of sand carried by a gust of wind. (Or any other element thats around, but considering this is in Egypt/the desert, sand would be more logical.)

I'm no Egyptian historian here! XD Though it is my favorite ancient civilization and I have done my research, some of these facts are slightly changed to suit those of an arabian stallion 'god'. For example, I wanted the scarab to be a 'heart scarab'. These were placed over the heart of the deceased to ensure a fair judgment in the afterlife. 1) Ra is the ruler of life and death and has no need for a heart scarab and 2) I understand thats not where a horses heart is, <.< A chest piece will do just fine. Also if one of you finds something wrong with my history theres no need to correct me, maybe I wanted it to be that way!
I'll stop rambling now...Onto another request!
